i have a 2007 yamaha grizzly 660 and a 2007 yamaha V star 650. the grizzly will be paid off next month. i dont currently ride the grizzly much but i might in the future when i get my own house. i've had an itch to get a bigger bike like an 04 or newer harley sportster custom 1200. should i sell the grizzly and vstar for the harley or hang on to the grizzly so i wont kick myself later on if i get more ground to ride on. if i sell the grizzly it'd be worth about 5500 and would pay off the v star. idealy i'd like the harley and grizzly but if i sell anything and buy the harley i'd lose a couple grand from it depreciating. i'd have to sell the vstar that i still owe on and buy a harley that is priced higher. what should i do? the v star is a nice bike but just not big enough and i love that harley sound. i can budget 1000 dallar payments a month so itd be around 5 months to pay off the v star.should i bear with the 650 v star &wait til the v star is paid then buy the harley in the winter?
