He is a male betta fish. He is turning white/losing his coloring. All he does is sit at the bottom of the bowl all day. Only moves when I move the bowl. He can still swim but he is not swimming nearly as much as when I first got him. His eyes also look sunken in kind and almost red.
I keep in a regular fish bowl and clean the water once a week. I use betta water purifier. I only use purified water at right temperature. Have been keeping him in a dark closet away from cats but bring him under light when I get home. I feed about 3 times a day/3 pellets each time. Please give me advice what to do? I am watching him die. I want to help him. Thank you~
