ive had him for about 4 months now. his normal color is a deep royal blue but now he has turned to a greyish light blue color (ugly)
and he doesnt go to the top of the tank anymore :( he just stays there floating at the bottom. he hasnt been eating either =/ he's been like this for about 2 days now. i feed him regularly and clean his water also.

whats wrong with him and what can i do to help him??

Well this could depend on what kind of tank you have. Betta's need at least 5 Gallons of water, a heater, and a filter. If theres not enough oxygen then he might not have enough energy to move or get the food from the top of the bowl. I would get a larger tank if you can( if you don't have the minimum requirements). If nothing is working then I would take him to a local petstore and they can check him out. You don't wanna give him medications that he doesn't need!
Sorry to hear hope this helps.

what size tank?
filtered?
heated?
when you clean his tank do you change all the water? also, how often?
does he have any symptoms besides being dull and listless?

I'm sorry...is he alive? If so you might be able to call the vet and see if they have any ideas about what could be going on with him. Sounds like he might be dead or close to death though.
