i just got 2 beta fish and they are in the same tank. i made a divider that works really well. its plastic. i already conditioned the water and put in real plants and they are in different sides of the tanks. all they are doing is at the surface or near the surface just sitting there breathing. if i touch the plant they swim away then come back. are they ok????
