In the summer, my beta fish was more active and ate more often. I usually feed him 4 to 5 times a week, and lately he refuses to eat anything. Since it has gotten colder he's stayed in the same part of the tank just floating rarely swimming, and when I see him swimming I try to feed him. But it's been almost a week and he's only eaten one pellet, reluctantly. He's even spit them back out.
Do beta fish hibernate? should I be worried that he's not moving or eating?
