I had a beta for just about a month and yes I do have him in a small tank but plan to upgrade this weekend. I have changed his water twice and he is feed 3 to 4 times a day. I read some where to feed him what he can eat in one minute. I did buy the blood worms but he will not touch them with a 10 foot pole.
Anyway, today I noticed he was really light blue and his red seems to be fading. He is not doing crazy things like nose dives, or swim crazy. He does not hang at the bottom of the tank all day or at the top. He swims around normally.
What could be wrong?
Is anything wrong?
Him losing his red color and becoming bright blue is that normal?
He is my sons pet: his name is Goldfish and my son is only 3 (his name is Zi (for short)) will be hard to explain death right now so if he is gonna die I'd like to replace him before my son, Zi, notices!
Any advice, or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
