My best guy friend( and crush) in the world is acting really weird!!!!?

So my best guy friend is so nice and here are some things he says to me...
He tells me I'm pretty all the time. When I'm crying he makes it better. We talk on the phone for hours. He says he misses me. he is decidicating a song to me that he is singing. He talks to anyone who makes me mad or upset. He loves the way I look and tells me to wear my hair a certain way cuz he likes it better that way. He knows everything about me and sometimes I think he knows me etter than I do myself. When I'm cracking up in the hall at school with my friends but I'm just trying to stop myself from crying he walks up and says are you ok and if you need to talk I'm here....

Ok so we text every day but friday at school he was staring at me wen i was standing up the hall talking with my friends. After that... he just acted weird. And i text him friday after school and its wensday and he still hasnt text me back!!! maybe he doest have his phone or maybe he is on vacation cuz its spring break... i dont know does he like me or not?? I just dont know anymore!?!?!?!?!

Im thinking he is starting to look at you differently and doesnt know how to deal with it. He probably doesn't wanna ruin your friendship

is he a shy person? maybe he doesn't want to ruin the friendship you have by telling you he likes you and maybe hes trying to keep his distance so he's feelings dont get deeper!
or he simply might have no credit!
