MY best friend has a pregnancy test question?

she has missed her period for like 40 days and just took and Answers pregnancy test that came back negative? she says she is a really regular about these things? are there any other reasons that she could have missed for such a long amount of time. P.S. she is not on birth control and also are there any other more accurate pregnancy test? or ones that check for more than one hormone?

You can try a digital one but all tests are pretty accurate. She can also go to a free clinic and try one of their pregnancy tests (I think some do blood and urine tests) and she can also go to a doctor to find out what's up.

pregnancy tests all test the same. she could always go to her doctor for a blood test. many things can mess up a persons period so I would suggest she go to the doctors to see if there is something wrong or can be done about her MIA period. if it's been 40 days a home pregnancy test would most definitely have picked up any hormone if she was in fact pregnant.

first response and it can also be stress related.....if she is really worried about it then maybe she should talk to a doctor
