...safe for traveling abroad? I am backpacking in Central America for 4 months. I will mostly be in Costa Rica and Nicaragua. I have a standard internal frame camping backpack that looks similar to this:

It has a top that can expand as you add more stuff, and it closes with a drawstring. There is a flap with a pocket on it that covers the drawstring and buckles down. Is there any way for me to lock this type of pack? I know safety guidelines of how to take care of your belongings when they are with you, but I would normally lock my luggage when its at the hostel, on an airplane, etc. What should I do?
