I had an auto accident 03/2010 where I sustained a fracture knee cap and torn tendons. It causes me tons of pain on a daily basis, I have a limp, and has severely limited my mobility. The first offer after medical bills and the attorney fee was $17,000. The lawyer made this out to be the best I could hope for and that a jury trial wouldn't yield much more. I was told that I could show financial strain to the hospital and have my bills reduced, but I feel I deserve much much more. I'm 21 years old and will have to live this way for the rest of my life. The accident happened in Georgia. What do I do?

Actually Judith I am not able to work....atleast not without prescription pain meds every few hours. Damn Judith, you're right...working on pain killers is a better lifestyle choice for me.
