My 98 Jeep Cherokee is making humming noise at 50 mph. What can be the problem?

Observations
When the car reaches 65 mph, the humming noise is less noticeable.
When I put the car in overdrive the noise completely stop.
Changed tires, new hubs in the front?
Transmission is regularly checked
 
I'd go back to the tire place and the shop that replaced the front hubs and get a full refund for a misdiagnosis. Any reputable shop would gladly refund you money for their error. Unfortunately, this cant be diagnosed over the internet. I suggest a reputable repair facility that employs master ase certified technicians for a proper diagnosis.
