My 98 ford explorer jerks/shake when I accelerate...?

Lately my car has been jerking everytime I accelerate up a hill or if I go on to the highway. My brother in law recently installed new spark plugs that he had to gap himself and then this is when the problem started happening. I took my car to the mechanic and they said one of my fuel injector was out so I replaced it, but the problem is still happening. Could this be a result of my brother in law not installing the spark plugs correctly? Please help!!!!
 
no theres always been problem with thoses cars best thing get rid it will cost you thousands to sort out the workings on them worked on over 56 of them and it a diffrent problem every time all watch out for power steering pump
