...DEGREES OUTSIDE!? ive got a 97 civic ex coupe with almost 160,000 miles on it.
last week i turned on my air conditioning and visible fumes/smoke started coming out of all the vents. they didnt smell good at all. smoke/fumes also came out from under the hood from the vents where the air gets sucked in for the air conditioning, kind of located right under the windshield wipers, right under the hood.
now when i try to turn on my air or heat nothing happens at all, no air or heat or blowing what so ever.
what could it be? help me out
another thing that ive noticed is when i get my car washed [i do frequently] when my car is being blow dried the air from the blow dryers comes in through the vents and blows as if it were air from the air conditioning.
and when i drive on the high way air comes in through the vents like air conditioning would.
this never happened before the a/c stopped working.
