...connected it started honking? not like on and off honking, just a continuous horn sound... any suggestions??
 
Beat it like a redhead step child, Ha ha dude idk just cut the wire that goes to the horn, or beat it up and send it to the junk yard, :-)
 
A dead battery often activates a vehicle security system. In many mid 90s vehicles, the solution is to use the key in the driver door to lock and unlock the door. This resets the security system. I have personally witnessed this work on two mid 900s vehicles of different makes.
