ok i took a trip has 230k on it went like 100 miles and it was pouring oil out of the back of the motor think it was the main seal i got it home after dumpin like 4 q in it then i got home the tranny weak like was on it and was barely goin i put fluid in and it was cool today i got in went to go got on the highway started actin like ti was in first gear doin fifity then i got off put more fluid in it was cool till i got to a light took a left andf then stopped goin just motor spinnin oin no where left it on side of road what yall think i checked tranny dip stick dont look red it looks brown i think oil got into tranny through the seal don know if this is possible and can this be corrected or is it too late ?? not replacin tranny too many miles on it

no oil didnt get into the tranny from the seals. the lose of tranny fluid burned up the clutches in the tranny. if your having that kind of problems get rid of it. it will cost you more then its worth

trans fluid turning brown is because the trans is burnt up inside clutches mostly. either rebuild or replace the trans. unless you are ready for a newer truck and can get one without debt.
