my 96 chevy cavalier is leaking coolant?

i have a 96 chevy cavalier that i have to put coolant in every 1 or 2 days the temp gauge will go up and it will start bogging out on me that only happens if im sitting at a stop for about 3 or more minutes it will also shut down on me sometimes out of knowhere the coolant seems to be leaking on the passanger side near the area of the front tire the leak is clearly visible when i go out in the morning there will be a puddle of coolant on the street does anybody know what this could be if you do please help me
