my 94 Mazda RX-7 wont start?

It takes two coils, a leading and trailing coil. They are different too I believe. So if you put in a new coil in the wrong spot, it would not fix the problem. If you put the new coil in the right spot, but that was not the bad one, it would not start.
Then again there might be something else wrong (like a bad fuel pump). No spark and no fuel are hard to tell apart sometimes.
