My 7 month old sleep in his swing and he just got his first tooth?? HElp?

Hi i have 7 month old twin boys and my oldest just got his first tooth last week. The week before that he had a 103.7 temp so i had him sleep in my bedroom in his swing and it seems everytime we try putting him in his bed he wakes up and screams luckly his brother sleeps through the night but i want to wean him off the swing but don't know how. We've tried having him cry himself to sleep and that last an 1 hr 30 mins he never calmed down so then we gave in and put him in the swing. How quickly do teeth come through? Any good remedies to use when teething or getting teeth? Any ideas for getting him to sleep in his crib??? Please help me ...
Also he like to be swadled still .... is that okay ?
