could this be? -We've been to her pediatrician 3 times on it, twice we were told it was nothing and once she had a 10 day round of antibiotics (they did nothing)
-She has a snotty nose and a nasty sounding cough, however her doc says it's not in her lungs at all.
-Sorry to be gross but her snot has not changed color at all. It's been a clear/white color all along.
-She sleeps with a humidifier on, her mattress propped, I suck snot from her nose multiple times a day, she is taking tri-vi-sol vitamins now (my hope to help her kick any infection)
-She drinks soy formula because she has reflux and it helps tremendously but these symptoms did start after about 3 weeks of being on it. I nursed her and did soy formula for about 2 weeks and then completely switched her at 5 months. So for almost the entire 2 months she's been on the soy, she's had this "cold"
-PLEASE no criticism about why we aren't at the doc. Obviously we've been and been sent home. I'm calling for another appointment Monday morning.
-Never a fever with this, she's happy as a clam, except in coughing fits. She is teething currently.
