My 60 yrs old mom has a 1st speeding ticket. should she fight for it?

A few days ago, my mom (60 yrs) got her 1st speeding ticket in CA. She has been driving for 13+ yrs and has a clean record. According to her, she saw 2 officers pulled a car over in the right shoulder lane. Then one of the officers signaled her to pull over too (he did not chase after her, her car did not pass him yet). She does not speak any English so she phoned my brother so he can ask what happened. The officer said that my mom drove 50mph on a 35mph. However, she was positive that she did not go faster than 35-38 mph because she did look @ the clock mins before the incident. She wanted to tell the officer her side but there was the language barrier. Do you think she can win the case if she go to court? Also, do the court have translator? thankyou
