My daughter has been complaining about heart pain for about two months on and off now. She is 6 and has no health problem. I took her in to her doctor and they asked me a bunch of questions. I answered them. They listened to her heart. He said her rate is good. He prescribed her some Ranitidine. She is to take two teaspoons a day. The doctor said that it most likely isn't her heart but pain that is coming from her stomach.
She complained now that it hurts.
My mother says I should take her to the E.R. and she is amazed that they did not do an E.K.G. She says that she can't believe they wrote her a prescription and sent her off. She is to come back in two weeks. She also said that since the pain comes and goes that it can be serious.
Should I take her to the E.R. or just give her the medicine like the doctor prescribed and take her back in two weeks?
