Hi,
I am a single father spending time with my daughter twice a week. she is generally doing great however, not very nice to me. For example, when she wakes up she does not even tell me good morning. when she goes to sleep no good night. I always tell her good morning and good night with a smile of course but no answer. She is a smart girl, very cute and I love her very much. Am I spoiling her too much not insisting on "good morning" from her? Here is my problem: she just opened her eyes. I am not going to ruin her day or even fight with her 5 minutes after she woke up just because she does not tell me good morning!. so how do I teach her that without a fight!? I tried like all other gentle ways, like explaining we should be nice to each other etc. etc..
unfortunately, so far nothing works
