Let me say she never hits me. So I have never had to deal with this issue as she knows not to hit me. Its not every single day its more like once a week. I want to nip this in the bud. Now I asked the Director and she said let the school handle it. They handle it by sending her to the Directors office to sit in the chair. She has discouraged me from disciplining her for it at home as that would be double disciplining for one act. Now as I see her point I don't want my child hitting her teacher. That is so disrespectful. If she were to do it in Kinder she'd be in huge trouble. I have started having her write I'm sorry notes for it at home and explaining how sad it makes the teacher. Is it enough? What else can I do?
I will say its not violent. The teacher said she'll do it once when told to sit in time out then she is sent to the Directors office. It's not over and over and she's not hitting the other children. She has never been aggressive before and there are other children in the room that hit. So I'm wondering if it's a monkey see monkey do kind of thing.
