i just got a jack russell terrier 17 hours ago (he is 4 weeks) and he wont stop whineing!!!! WHY is he whining? HELP!!!!

He is crying for his mother. He is hungry. Why did you get him when he still needs to be nursing? Please take him back where you got him. What have you been feeding him?

He is way too young to be away from his mom. You need to take him back for a minimum of two weeks 4 would be better.

TAKE IT BACK to the moron you got it from!!!!
Preferably before it DIES,eh?
It's ***TWO*** MONTHS TOO YOUNG!!!!

Cause hes to young to be away from mother, needs all the nutrients which you cant give him

A pup shouldn't wean until atleast 6 weeks, and shouldn't go to a home until atleast 8 weeks.Even at that age they're too young. Be sure to keep a close eye on your pup. Don't take him out of the house. He is very young, and will pick up diseases VERY easily. You can put a tick tock clock in with the pup and a warm blanket from the dryer to help. The poor thing wants its mom! Why would you get a pup so small?

because he has been taken away from his mother too early. he should still be getting milk off his mother. take him back until he is at least 8 weeks old

Take this pup back to its mother and litter mates and leave it there for at least another 4-5 weeks. What are you thinking bringing home a puppy that is not even weaned yet. The poor little pup.

He's crying because he's frightented and unhappy and wants his mother and litter mates.
