My 360 is no longer upconverting.....?

I'm running the VGA cable. I have the HD drive connected as well.
If I put a full screen dvd in either drive it will play it at a 4:3 ratio.

It used to show it 16:9.

Any idea what is going on?
 
Is the resolution you chose widescreen? I think it locks to that resolution.

It doesn't upconvert DVDs in terms of resolution though, no matter the connection.
 
It does upconvert DVDs. My 360 upconverts DVDs to 1080p. It'll upconvert the DVD to whatever resolution you set it at.

You might have your 360 set to show in a different aspect. If you go to the 360 DVD controls using your controller, their is an option to control aspect ratio. Play around with that.
