My 2004 Toyota Celica shows "engine hot" on gauge and my heater gets hot sporadically.?

The heater blows fine and when it kicks in the gage goes back to normal. The fan works and it happens any time. (ie cold weather, driving, idling...) Is it the thermostat, fuse, relay? HELP!

Sounds like it's the thermostat, they are only a few bucks so change it and see.

You have a loose cooling valve. Take the thing to the mechanic pronto,.
