I was driving around today and all of the sudden my van could not accelerate to even 20 MPH, the RPM's kept getting higher, it was much like trying to drive while in neutral. I then noticed a squishy sound, not loud at all and then when I put it in park it made a clanky sound. How weird. Anyone have any experience with cars that could maybe tell me what you think could be wrong. We'll obviously be taking it in but due to its symptoms it sounds pricey so will probably wait until we get our tax refund to do it.
We have been having problems with shifting. We can't get it out of park all the time and have to use the key and put it in neutral first and then start the car. There was also once where I couldn't shift from D to D3. Would those be due to the tps? thanks for your help
