...drive it for a day or so? ? My check engine light came on. I am not due for a service yet. I checked the oil and coolant levels and everything was fine. What could be wrong and can I still drive it for a day or two more. Please Help!
 
well if you have check the fuild levels then yes but really not wise and you could find a autozone and have it scan to find problem which is free might be something simple to replace your self which most of time is
 
yes it will be fine there probably isn't anything wrong with it.. some peoples check light is on for years.. actually most poeple that i know they're light is on and that6 doesnt make any difference.
 
You should be fine. The check engine light could come on for something as simple as leaving your gas cap off or not secure. Do have it checked, but you are fine to drive for a week or so. If the light is flashing it is something you want to get in the shop asap.
