...car still not starting? I replaced my battery and alternator a few months ago within a months span of one another. On April 03 2010, I had gone a few places and my car was working fine and at my last stop i did what i'd had to do, when i got into the car my sterring wheel was locked because some cars do have that lock on there to prevent theives from stealing your vehicle so when i had my keyes in it and i had my keys turned most of the way but not started, my steering wheel came out of its locked mode but my car did not turn on. I got a jump and when my car cut on my dashboard lights where flickering and hanging on to dear life. I didnt even turn on my headlights because if i did that i knew my car would cut off, as i was driving my battery light came on. When i got home and tried to cut the car back on it wouldn't. Then today April 04 a neighbor tried jumping my car and and when he had the battery cables attached to mine, my lights on my dashboard came on fine, no flickering, but when i tried starting it-it wouldnt turn over and all i heard where clicking noises. When my neighbor unattached his battery cables from mine. My lights wouldnt even turn on, nor would it click or make a noise when i tried starting the car.....................PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHAT THE HELL THE PROBLEM IS. Please dont tell me to go see a mechanic.....I'am aware of that.....but i do like yahoo and some of its intelligent mines to bless me with their answers.....Thanks god bless
