What's wrong is you don't have any mechanical nohow. Pull the plugs and you will probably find the electrodes worn and the gap too big. Plugs are cheap. You can spray the plug wires with windshield solvent at night and see if the plug wires are arcing in the dark. If you have not replaced the plugs or wires in over 60,000 miles I'd just replace them.
A vacuum leak can cause multiple misfires so check all the vacuum lines for cracks if you don't find one disconnected.
If you have been driving this way for a while, and I'll bet you have, change the oil and filter. The unburnt gas washes down the cylinder walls and ends up diluting the oil which then causes premature bearing failure. Soon you will be a "walking-sort-of-guy!"

...and a analyzer shows multiple engine misfires upon starting. It clears up within a few seconds, but the light stays on. I am a do-it yourself guy...what do you think is wrong?
Actually, several cylinders misfire upon starting, so it is not an isolated plug/wire/coil problem.
