my 2002 dodge dakota heater resistor not working?

my 2002 dodge dakota heat was not working so i pulled out the resistor to see that the harness thats connects the resistor was melted a bit so i was not getting proper connection i scapped it off a bit and plugged it back in and it started to work now the same problem is happening again and i need to know what the harness part is called so i can replace it or a easy way to fix it for cheap
