My 2002 chrysler voyager Van does not blow hot air, only cold air, it worked last winter, I replaced the thermostat, checked the coolent, both fans work, what could be the problem, its getting cold!

the thermostat could be partially stuck open and that wont let the engine warm up enough to provide good heat, that's the usual cause for one not heating up,if its running too cold on the gage its probably the thermostat needs replacing, that's the cheapest repair you can actually make to a car,if not id try flushing the heater core out if the thermostat doesn't help it,good luck.

there is a diverter inside the heat duct inside the car that controls how much heat passes into the cabin. sometimes it is vacuum controlled by your thermostat setting, on other cars it is directly mechanically controlled. it is possible that this is simply malfunctioning and not directing the hot air into your car. perhaps the cable or the vacuum line is detatched.

your thermostat is probably bad.when car is warm shut it off and feel the upper and lower radiator hose make sure they are both warm/hot be careful if they are thats OK and it probably is your heater core.

Many cooling systems need to be "burped" to get the air out of the system and allow the coolant /hot water to circulate. I don't know if this applies to your van. It did to my daughters K car several years ago.
