About 2 months ago I bought a 2002 chrysler sebring GTC convertible with 90k miles as my first car. It was running fine up until about 2 weeks ago. My check engine light came on and when the mechanic tested it, it said that I had an e-vap leak. Mechanic said not to rush to fix it because its not a big deal. Then soon after this happens, my car starts acting wierd. When switching from reverse to drive, you can feel it jump. Also when going 60+ mph the entire car shakes really bad. Sometimes it purrs really loudly and you can feel it jump at 15 mph and 30 mph. Also, sometimes while driving it feels like my car is galloping, I can't really explain it. All of this happens on and off randomly. However, the RPM is always normal, it never stalls, and nothing else seems to be wrong. I heard Sebrings were notorious for transmission failure though. I need help!
