My jeep wont start, i have jump start and while connected to the other car it wont start immediately it will in a few minutes. After it starts it wont stay on unless i give it gas once I stop accelerating it shuts off again. I can keep it going but it keeps doing the same effect.

What will it be?

Thank you for your help

I would have an AVR run which tests the alternator and battery outputs, it sounds to me like the battery is bad if you always need a jump, and it is normal to take a little bit before a jump can work if a battery is completely dead. As far as the car dying when it has no gas it could be a weak alternator, which would explain why the battery is not getting charged, and why it needs to have high engine RPM while running, the alternator is not putting out enough juice at idle.
