2000 Dodge Grand Caravan- V6 3.0 engine. When I give it gas to either enter a lane or when the RPMs jump from about 1000 to 2500 and up (to accelerate in a highway or street) I feel a jerk as soon as the RPM's drop back down. Its only 1 jerk, and if I have to give gas again immediately for whatever reason it does it 50% of the time i would say. The engine was replaced (2 months ago because it overheated and the head was shot), but the jerking was happening before. The last week or so its been almost constant when I accelerate. 2 days after the Engine change my car turned off, and wouldn't turn over. The crank sensor was loose. The tranny had a leak and was corrected, fuel filter and tranny tune up done same time as engine, and the shop specialises in trannys and they said the tranny was in good shape. The plugs/wires/cap/rotor were not changed in new engine because I changed them on the old engine about 2 weeks before it broke down. The old engine had 133,000 miles, the new one has 70,000 (oil just changed yesterday). I have been told it can be a Throttle Position Sensor? or even a tranny/motor mount. I would like your opinion especially if you have dealt with this issue before. Thanks
