crankshaft.. and P0620 Generator. Drivable? My 2000 Chevrolet Venture has had recent problems with the transmission, so I took it into an auto care shop that specializes in transmission repair. They told me that the following things are wrong with it:
P0336 Crankshaft Pos. Sensor A Signal
P0620 Generator Control ... (illegible, either clet or det)
My mechanic told me that it might go away, continue to get worse, or simply die on me, and that he cannot fix it until it dies.
A few questions:
1) Is this the kind of thing that is a time bomb to stall on me on the side of the freeway?
2) Would I be able to repair it myself, and if so, how?
3) How much (approximately) would it cost to repair if it DOES stall?
