I have a 1999 pontiac grand am at/4Cly it was working ok limited use through the summer before the kid got her license went to start it and it wont start. It seems like a dead battery so I replaced the battery and nothing happened. I can hear the fuel pump run but nothing on the starters end. I don't think it could be the starter and is it possible it could be a problem with the security system. Does anyone have any suggestions?
