Hi all,
I recently imported a Japanese Honda Logo 1998 (it was succeeded by the Honda Jazz and then the Fit) its in great condition from what i can tell, 47,000Kms on the clock and a sticker on the side of the dash says it was serviced in Japan at Honda center at 40,000Kms. I have been driving it for 3 weeks and really loving the car but yesterday morning it started making a knocking sort of noise from the front right wheel area. My first worry was that it was something to do with the CVT Transmission or maybe coz it was just a really cold morning. i ignored and and drove out the gate where it started making a squeaking noise that didn't seem to stop when i pressed the brake. i highly doubt its pads coz Honda would have replaced them, It also squeaks without even pressing the brakes for about 3 Kms.. then it just stops.. the tapping noise also stops and then its fine all the way to work. but in the evening going home it did the same thing..then again this morning.. It also seems to make the acceleration "uneasy" for a word.. like there is a slight pull or something not right when taking off at first. I cant see anything lose and am worried ..

any assistance would be great !!
to clarify - the tapping noise does not stop when o press the brake.. but does stop if the car is not moving.. the other noise that started with it (the squeaking) seems to slow down if i slow down..
squeak...squeak...squeak etc
