My 1998 Chrysler Cirrus LXi stalls?

and feels like it doesn't want to accelerate when i lightly push on the pedal. So i have to push down harder to make it go. But still it has never acted this way before.
 
i had the same problem with my 2000 cirrus. i had it towed and everything i was so worried about it. turns out my fuel pump was clogged. i put 20 in gas in and a thing of dry gas and sat there and kept revving the engine for like 10 minutes until it went away. never had the problem again. never let my gas run that low again either.
