My 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix SE 3.1L engine motor oil question?

I've been using 10W-30 synthetic for engines over 75,000 miles on my 96 pontiac grand prix for a while, I accidently picked up 5 quarts of 10W-40 synthetic high milage instead of the 10W-30, is this ok to switch or do I have to go back and switch it to keep using 10W-30 synthetic?
my car is at 124k miles.
