I recently bought a beautiful 1995 jeep grand cherokee limited edition with 100,000 miles on it. I got it for $1,800. I didn't realize until 2 days after i bought it that the headlights didn't work. My mechanic spend 4 hours looking for the problem, then to tell me there's a major electrical problem somewhere in the car. I love this car, and i want to fix it. How big of a fix is this, and how much money are we talking. I got a good meachnic. i think its a short in the wires, they have to find the wires, the short. Also, could i get some lights from kragen that go on the bumper, and hook them up. The electric problem dosen't affect n e thing but the headlights.

ps. i cannot return car, please dont bother.

Sucks. The Grand Cherokees are prone to electrical issues. I would have gone for a Cherokee which for some reason don't seem to have these issues. Sorry I haven't had enough experience with them to really help but best of luck to you.

If that were me instead of putting new lights in i would just run new wires for the head lights. You would be doing the same thing for the new lights anyway.
