my 1994 honda civic vtech sohc engine is stamped AAA on the block with nothing...

...else. what does this mean? i cannot find any meaning since most are stamped d15b or d16 etc etc is there any body who knows what that means?
 
Almost sounds like a stamp removal job... It should be stamped with the engine code on the little flat spot located to the left of the exhaust manifold. If it just says AAA that's very strange. I recall seeing AAA stamped somewhere on my b16. Maybe you aren't looking at the correct stamp?
