My 1993 Honda civil's air conditioner has been repaired 3 times, it still

doesn't work, any suggestions? The air conditioner works for maybe 20 minutes and then starts blowing hot air at me. This was the problem the first time it went in for repair, and it still has the same problem. I dread talking it in again, just to pay for another repair that doesn't work.
I'm using the car more frequently now that gas prices have skyrocketed, it still gets 40 MPG.
