when ever i start it after it has sat for a while, it starts right up. but when i drive it for a while, and i stop at a stop light/sign it will die. its like it chokes or something. the way it dies is that when i start to accelerate from a stop it dies. i have just recently purchased and installed a new air filter and fuel filter. my car did sit for a while like a year. i hope i can get this resolved. thanks!
on P.S- when ever it does die, i have to floor the gas then start the car, keep the gas floored until it gets to about 3-4 RPM and then it stops puttering and while i do that, it smells like un burnt gas is coming out the exaugst pipe... it is wasting alot of EXPENSIVE gas lol. but it DOES putter until i get it up to about 3-4 RPM.
how do i check to see if there is water in the gas? because i think that might be it.
