Yesterday I was driving on the freeway when I noticed that the temperature needle was all the way up. I pulled over to a gas station and let it cool down. When I checked the water I added half a gallon of water. It seem to work but when I was getting close to my house, it started going up again. I checked this morning and only had to add half a gallon again. Can this be causing to overheat? I don't know if this is relate to the problem but my car's heater does not work. When I put the defrost on only normal temperature air comes out and won't clear out the frost on the windshield. Could this be the same problem or are they totally different problems? I want to get both fixed so I'm open to suggestions.
