My 1991 Automatic Honda Accord won't go in reverse or drive. What's wrong?

My 1991 Automatic Honda Accord won't go in reverse or drive. The car won't budge either way. When I switch to reverse to put it into park it makes a loud screeching noise. What could be the problem?
