R renume Guest Jan 23, 2009 #3 spark plugs,plug wires,fuel filter,air filter,fuel pump,bad gas,.........................any of these could be the problem,.....give that 22R a good tune up and it'll be fine.

R R P Guest Jan 23, 2009 #4 Instead of throwing parts at it, just replace what's wornout or broken. Being carburated makes it alot EZ'r to trouble shoot to find the problem.
