my 1986 Acura Legend won't turn on on hot days!!!!?

when its hot outside, i try to turn my car on, but the engine won't turn. i checked the battery but it checked out fine. i also got a new alternator 2 years ago. at when the days are cool or at night, i have no problems starting my car. any reasons for my car acting this way? PLEASE HELP!!!!!
