ive been working on my water pump for a few weeks, but it doesn't seal right, i give it a week to dry and all that, sometimes its small drips, sometimes its huge leaks! but ive got through 12 things of anti-freeze. and im sick of it.
i can turn on my car just fine, but around 20 to 30 minutes later i begin to hear a knock. i check my antifreeze and radiator, all the anti freeze is gone! ive resealed the water pump a good 3 or 4 times. each time it shows improvement. but before i run out and try to reseal it.. AGAIN. should i check my lifters and oil etc?
what makes my engine knock? and when i stop the car, the knock goes for another 15 seconds!
