my little boy of 19 months is becoming a real handfull. its not that i ever expected parenthood to be easy but its becoming a real problem. for the last few months he has started smacking, pinching, biting and spitting. when he cant get he's own way he will have huge tantrums, where he will throw anything within he's reach on the floor, fall to the ground and bang he's head on the the floor. this spoilt behaviour is really taking its tole, especially when we dont even hìget any or little peace during the night as he isnt sleeping properly. we are talking about a child that was an angel until 14 months. would sleep 12 hours a night and was a happy little boy. he hasnt had any major changes and we really have tried everything. when i say no i mean no, and never go back on my word, we have tried sitting him down and talking to him calmly, telling him off, using a naughty chair, smaking him (just a tap) on the hand.. but nothing is working.... any advise would be great! thankyou
we live in italy where he's diet is great! only drinkd water and loves vegetables, pasta and fruite.... so unfortunatly its not that... thankyou anyway...
believe me i am very firm. he does get told off when he does these things but he's just not bothered! when he overdoes things and i see he isnt listening i walk out of the room until he stops crying.
